Bob Gordon honored at APHA ATOD event 2013 Community-Based Leadership Award Congratulations!
Bob Gordon, our dear friend, and the Project Director of the California LGBT Tobacco Education Partnership, was awarded the community-based leadership award at this year’s 141st Annual American Public Health Association Meeting!
The Community-Based Leadership Award acknowledges leadership and innovation in community-based ATOD (Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs) programs that affect the community environment and result in significant change within a targeted community. Bob was honored for his work on LGBT issues, as well as his collaborations with the pharmacy and tobacco control advocates to bring about San Francisco’s pharmacy law.
One of the founders of the National Network Summits, we lovingly refer to Bob as the “grandfather of the Network”, because in 2001 he gathered a group of folks in his hotel room to create the foundation for what would later become the Network for LGBT Health Equity!
Congratulations Bob!!!!

Way to go Bob!! Congratulations!!!
Congratulations Bob! Keep up the great work!!
