The Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act: Regulatory Science and the Tobacco Industry Conference
Today I am joined with Tobacco Control Leaders from across the country, gathered for a memorial conference to senator Edward M. Kennedy, on the second anniversary of the signing of the Tobacco Control Act at the Harvard School of Public Health here in Boston MA.
With over 20 speakers today, we are definitely in for a treat. Some of the speakers include, a personal favorite of mine, Dr. Cheryl Healton President and CEO of the American Legacy Foundation, Dr. Stanton Glantz Director of the center for Tobacco Control at the University of California San Francisco, Matthew Myers, president of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, as well David Ashley, Director, of the office of science, with the center for tobacco products at the FDA, just to name a few.
The Events from today will be available through a live webcast by clicking here. I encourage you all to view schedule here and join us.
Stay tuned for more blogs from todays events.
